One came from design. One came from marketing. A‑Concepts was created somewhere in between.

With more than 20 years of experience in residential and commercial interior design, Allen brings a thoughtful eye to every space. Born in Taiwan and raised in Vancouver, his perspective reflects both his cultural roots and a life shaped in North America. He sees beyond what a space is today—recognizing its proportions, balance, materials, details, and the story waiting to be revealed.

With a background in marketing, entrepreneurship, and e‑commerce, including building and running her own online beauty business, Chelsea learned early on that people don’t simply respond to a product—they respond to how it is presented, how it makes them feel, and the story behind it.

There’s a story behind the name.

A‑Concepts began at home — as a shared dream between a husband and wife.

What began as everyday conversations about design, homes, and the lives lived within them slowly grew into something they wanted to build together.

When it was time to give that dream a name, they wanted both of them to be part of it: “A” for Allen and “C” for Chelsea. “Concepts” represents the ideas they continue to create together.
